In 2001, Samara Wolf was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerossis. That year, she started the annual "Friends" walk to benefit efforts to cure the disease. The walk usually starts at the Sheridan Center Open Air Pavilion in Heritage Park. Those who register for the event receive a colorful T-shirt. Various raffles and giveaways are made. For more information on the campaign, call Wolf at (313) 445-0118, email corgimommy@hotmail.com.
